Thanh Tri Bridge is the largest one among the 7 projects of bridges overing Hanoi Red River. The bridge connects Hoang Mai district with Long Bien district. It starts from the interchange of 1A highway at Phap Van (Hoang Mai), intersects the Hanoi – Hai Phong highway at Thach Ban, Long Bien, and ends at the point intersecting V highway at Sai Dong (Long Bien).
Thanh Tri bridge has a load capacity of H30 – XB80, which means that: wheeled trucks with a load capacity of less than 30 tons, as well as tracked vehicles with a load capacity of less than 80 tons will meet the load conditions to cross the bridge.
The main bridge is 3,084 m long with a total length of more than 12.000 m; 33.10 m wide with 6 lanes (4 expressway lanes), allowed thespeed of 100 km/h.
The bidding price is 1.395,46 billion VND.
Once completed, Thanh Tri Bridge will fundamentally contribute to solving traffic congestion in Hanoi. This bridge is now considered as the largest bridge project in Indochina.
